Honduran Soccer Chief Turns Himself in to US Authorities

Former Honduran president and head of the country's soccer federation Rafael Callejas has turned himself over to the U.S. Department of Justice. Callejas, who is the leading figure in the ruling National Party, is accused of involvement in the FIFA corruption scandal, specifically having accepted bribes in exchange for granting television rights for the 2010 world championship. He also faces eight corruption charges from when he was president (1990-1994). Gerardo Torres reports from Tegucigalpa. teleSUR
