This song talks about how Edward doens't want to change Bella and take away her soul and how he would do anything to make her see that it's not too late for her to have a human life (including going away in New Moon). This is Edwards point of view as he tries to convince her that she should stay human and that once she becomes a vampire she won't be able to have the life she had and the people she loves. However, Bella continues to say that she wants to end her life by becoming a vampire.
