Up to 2009 he was one of the few legends of reggae music who had never featured at Rototom Sunsplash… He moved his first steps in the reggae scene when still a child, dueting with Ernest Wilson. Freddie McGregor’s talent however was universally acknowledged in the late Seventies, when Studio One and Niney The Observer released some of his greatest hits. In 1982 he achieved world fame with his ‘Big ship’, constantly played in every dancehall… Look out for a real reggae icon, at the Rivellino Park!
