Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that the PlayStation 4 has sold through more than 5.7 million units during the 2015 holiday season from about November 22 to January 3. PS4 has now cumulatively sold through more than 35.9 million units globally as of January 3, 2016. PlayStation 4 software sales also remained strong during the 2015 holiday season with more than 35 million copies sold in retail stores worldwide and through digital downloads on PlayStation Store as of January 3, 2016.
