Here Is Why Spiderman Can Never Climb Walls In Reality

Researchers from Cambridge claim that geckos’ body size is the upper-limit when it comes to the use of adhesion as a wall-climbing strategy.

Everyone knows Spiderman isn't real, but apparently his wall-crawling ability isn't even possible, according to researchers at the University of Cambridge.
The study notes that animals who use adhesive footpads to climb walls use a larger percentage of their body for adhesion as their overall body size increases. This all but locks in an upper limit to the size of animal who could use adhesion to climb due to the amount of body surface area required.
