High winds and seas caused flooding in parts of Ocean City, New Jersey on Saturday.

Local residents woke up to find icy water lapping around their front decks.

A blizzard with hurricane-force winds has brought much of the US East Coast to a standstill, dumping as much as 3ft (90cm) of snow.
