Mad Max: Fury Road has proved to be a winner for which George Miller representing his biggest opening weekend ever, with the film raking in global ticket sales of $US109.4 million. It has been known for sometime that Miller intended for Mad Max: Fury Road to be the first instalment of a new trilogy and while Warner Bros. hasn't officially announced a follow-up yet, the director and creator has revealed that he has already completed the screenplay for the next installment, which will be called Mad Max: The Wasteland. Should the next installments be given the greenlight Tom Hardy will be ready as he revealed last month that he has signed on for three more Mad Max films.
