Road rage: Irate man yells at cars unaware of approaching tornado

POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA — A video posted on YouTube and Facebook shows an irate man swerving through the streets of Pompano Beach, Florida, unaware of a tornado touching down in front of him. Anthony Ciarrocchi was on his way to work at around 7 a.m. on Feb. 16, and, as a somewhat avid poster of videos from his drives, had his dashboard camera running. At first, the video shows a normal drive through the rain. Then, just before the 2 minute mark, the road goes dark as the power is knocked out. Ciarrocchi can be heard joking, "I can't see. Who turned out the lights? What the f**k! It's armageddon." He is still unaware of the tornado forming to the right of his vehicle. But his camera catches the funnel touching ground. Wind and rain begin to pound harder on Ciarrocchi's car as he gets irritated by other slow vehicles. He then weaves between driver after driver. It wasn't until about the 2:30 minute mark that he finally sees the tornado saying, "That's a swell there boy." And as it approaches directly to his right, Ciarrocchi can be heard yelling at drivers to get out of the way. "Oh shit, I'm in a f**king hurricane, dude," he says dodging debris and cars. Once in the clear, Ciarrocchi remarks, "I was just in a f**king hurricane, dude. That as awesome!" He posted the video on both his YouTube channel and Facebook page. On Facebook, Ciarrocchi outlined the damages to his car in response to a friend's comment writing, "Dent on fender and knocked the scoop off right side.." When one commenter asked how he didn't see the tornado forming, he wrote, "Camera is set of high resolution, pulls more light than my eyes can see. Also focused on driving…." The video has been viewed over 80,000 times in less than 24 hours.
