His first single was released in 1985 and he had to wait patiently until 2000 to get closer to success with the single "Love So Nice": Of the artists who joined the much talked about new Jamaican roots scene in the second half of the nineties, Junior Kelly is one of the most well regarded in Europe thanks to the energy of his shows and the number of masterpieces included in great albums such as "Love So Nice", "Smile" or "Tough Life". Many lovers of authentic Jamaican roots will recall pearls such as "Boom Draw", "Love so Nice" or "Blaze", the latter produced by the German label Pow Pow. After a pause, Junior has come back with force with his latest cd "Piece of the Pie", recorded for the label Al.Ta.Fa.An last year.
