Plants vs. Zombies 2 comes to Android. As expected, the war continues to rage between plants and zombies with the sequel to the title game now available for Android. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a freemium game, meaning that basic content is free, but there’s an option to pay for additional content. Free update to OS X Mavericks. Apple has surprised Mac owners by releasing Mavericks, the latest version of OS X, for free! But the free update to its operating system isn't the only surprise from Apple. Both iLife and iWork will now come free with new iOS devices. Now that the public have ever more free alternatives to Office, we'll see how Microsoft reacts to this news. Minecraft gets a big update. Minecraft fans, prepare yourselves: version 1.7.1. has arrived. What's new? Some highlights include bigger worlds with more objects, new types of plants, and an achievement system, among many others. The update also addresses 80 bugs in the game. BBM for Android and iPhone now available. BlackBerry has finally launched its famous messaging app across multiple platforms, and so far, it’s been a great success! BBM was downloaded roughly 10 million times in its first 24 hours of availability, although the true success of BlackBerry Messenger is yet to be confirmed: we'll have to wait and see if the 10 million people who download BBM will actually use it on a regular basis.
