Irrfan Khan Insults Bengalis | Piku

Piku will see a unique cast in the form of Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone. The film will see Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone playing Bengalis.

Says Irrfan, "I'm not playing a Bengali in Piku. I have a problem with Bengalis in the film. To learn the language and everything right about Bengalis was Amitabh and Deepika Padukone's job, not mine."

Ask if Bengalis will stop loving him after watching Piku and Irrfan says with a smirk, "Bengalis ko unki aukat pata chal jaegi (Bengalis will realise their status)."
