Forty years ago, on July 4th, Israel special forces carried out a daring rescue mission in Entebbe, Uganda. Days before, members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Baader-Meinhof Gang hijacked an AirFrance plane flying from Tel-Aviv to Paris. The terrorists held the hostages at the Entebbe airport before the Israeli troops stormed the terminal.
