The video, filmed on Lake Travis on July 2, shows the small aircraft flipping as it hits the water before starting to sink.
According to local reports, the plane took off from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Saturday afternon and crashed shortly before 4pm.
"There were three passengers and all three escaped with only one with minor injuries," the filmer later wrote online.
