Peru Prepares for new Qualitative Education System

Evaluating students with a punitive quantitative grading system, similar to the one used in the U.S., has been a characteristic of Peruvian education. The goal of that system is to pressure students to work harder. However, such methodology is coming to an end with a decision by the government aimed at closing the education gaps in the country.
