(Pink Floyd) Goodbye Blue Sky - Gabriella Quevedo

Move Over, David Gilmour!

One of the lesser known cuts from Pink Floyd's iconic album The Wall, 'Goodbye Blue Sky' is a gorgeous tune that was absolutely cut out for teen guitarist Gabriella Quevedo! She's a fingerstyle guitarist based out of Sweden and at 16, she's taking the music world by storm with her classically inspired arrangements of classic rock favorites.

This impromptu performance of 'Goodbye Blue Sky' sounds like something that Pink Floyd's David Gilmour would have come up with, and what's more amazing than the fact that she arranged the piece by herself is the fact that she plays entirely by ear - a skill she learned from her father, also an accomplished guitarist.

Gabriella is inspired by guitarists such as Sungha Jung, Kotaro Oshio and Tommy Emmanuel.

While she's only been playing for 4 years, it's clear that Gabriella shows every sign of a promising future as a musician. She's already winning awards for her original arrangements and performances, and if she's this good at 16, imagine what she'll be capable of in a few more years! We can't wait to see what the future holds for this talented young lady!
