The Blind Voyeur

Back in the early oughts, I had a temporary, odd, and somewhat lucrative job. I know my way around a video camera and found a job staging voyeur porn videos. But most of what I shot took place in public parks. My boss, who loved voyeur porn and founded the company to cater to a then, under served audience, wanted most of it shot at night, with night vision, showing couples doing it on park benches or in bushes. My boss kinda creeped me out, I'd often do a shoot and give him the tape, he'd then 'check' it's quality and a room alone, coming out with his hands unwashed.

So one night before a shoot, he calls me up a few hours early and tells me to set up a camera at a specific location and just to let it roll, then to pick it up hours later. I figured he was trying to weasel his way out of a payment, but he said he'd pay me for as long as the camera rolled, which was a pretty penny. So I did as he said, picked up the camera hours later, and delivered the tape the next day. Check was in the mail, done and done. Everything was fine until I emailed my boss about the next "assignment." I come to find out he was arrested for rape.

Well hey, I though, I knew that guy was creepy but as least he's locked up. I'll just have too look for a new job. I reassured myself everything was fine, until I checked to see what had become of the site I was working with. That was the first time I saw what I recorded that night.
