In the moment of his death, Our Prophet’s (saas) connection to God was really strong

ADNAN OKTAR: "Laa ilaaha illaAllah, as it turns out, death is full of agonies." Our Prophet (saas) was the sweetest man on earth. Because if every believer suffers agony when they are in the throes of death, so should our Prophet (saas) as a part of his trial. If Our Prophet (saas) were bestowed a privilege because he was a prophet, this would be in contradiction with the divine justice of Almighty God. So, he suffered the same agony as everyone else. But look, how nice that he says, ""Laa ilaaha illaAllah, as it turns out, death is full of agonies."  In his death bed, Our Prophet (saas) fixed his eyes on the miswak. When he was asked if he wanted it, he nodded. Because he would always keep his teeth clean. He said, "I took the miswak but it was hard." Fresh miswak is hard so the end that goes into mouth should be properly softened. They gave our Prophet (saas) a fresh miswak which should normally be softened by a plier-like tool before use. When he was asked "Should I soften it?" again he nodded. He used the miswak after it was softened, masha'Allah. His last words was "O Lord, I am going to the Exalted Friend," masha'Allah. Do you see how he kept himself clean? Even at the point of death he wanted his mouth to be clean. A clean fresh miswak has a certain pleasant scent and a tangy taste. But I suppose in her haste and excitement, our mother Hazrat Aisha (ra) gave our Prophet (saas) a fresh and hard miswak. Otherwise, they wouldn't normally give it in that way. Here we see the state of rush they are in. Normally, our Prophet (saas) would soften each of the clean and fresh miswaks and then use it. The beautiful mouth of our Prophet (saas) would always smell nice and pleasant. Do you see how he kept himself clean? This happened moments before his death. Look, he was fully conscious and his ethics were perfectly proper. He constantly mentioned God's name. This is how a believer should behave, masha'Allah. There are other things regarding the death of our Prophet (saas) but I am not going to read them because you would be overwhelmed, masha'Allah.

At one point, our Prophet (saas) said, "O Gabriel, I see myself in a comatose state." But he said it while he was having a seizure from high fever. It means that he was answering a question that was asked to him. "I see myself in a comatose state" he said.

Look, Gabriel would ask after him even when he was sick. You know how people visit patients. This is what Gabriel did out of politeness, masha'Allah. No drugs such as antipyretics or painkillers existed in that era. It was a miracle for our Prophet (saas) to live to the age of 63 in those times. The age of 63 would be equal to the age of 90 today. Because the region has a hot climate, the children, the people who live there develop rapidly. For that reason they die at an early age. People who live into their 60s are a rare occurrence.
