Jenny's life is over. She has been locked up in a women's prison for killing someone, and she would do it again. Buried beneath her impenetrable façade, however, is an invaluable musical talent. When 80-year-old piano teacher Traude Krueger discovers the girl's terrible secret, her raging brutality and her dreams, she makes it her mission to retransform Jenny into the musical wunderkind she once was. As it soon becomes evident, however, Traude may have a dark secret of her own.

Four Minutes is the second feature film of Chris Kraus, one of Germany's most captivating young filmmakers. It opens on April 18th in New York City and April 25th in Los Angeles.
