Georges St-Pierre, former UFC champs to make MMA 're-defining' announcement

A major announcement will be made Wednesday by prominent members of the MMA community, including former UFC 170-pound champion Georges St-Pierre and ex-Bellator MMA promoter Bjorn Rebney. A press release, obtained by MMA Fighting, calls it an "industry re-defining" announcement. Other fighters listed in the release include vocal proponents of the need for an MMA fighter's union, Donald Cerrone and Tim Kennedy. Former UFC champions Cain Velasquez and T.J. Dillashaw are also in the release. The conference call is set for 4 p.m. EST.
