PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND — Pawtucket man Onasi Olio-Rojas is recovering in the hospital after recklessly livestreaming himself driving his car at 115 mph. He wound up rear-ending a dump truck.

According to local channel WPRI-12, the 20-year-old was in Providence on Wednesday and driving at speeds of up to 115 miles per hour on U.S. Route 6. He streamed some of that for his buddies to see on Facebook Live.

This video lasts an entire three minutes. He’s not wearing a seatbelt.

According to reports, Rojas’s vehicular mayhem ended when he lost control of the car and started spinning. He rear-ended a garbage truck coming onto the highway before being bounced across the road and into the barrier.

Firemen rescued him from the car, and he’s at a local hospital where he WPRI-12 reported him as being in fair condition. Other outlets reported him as critical.

Police told WPRI-12 that when Rojas recovers he’ll be arraigned in hospital, and that the video more or less makes the case against him.
