GTR 2 | Ferrari 575 GTC | Oschersleben 15 Minute Race

GTR 2 FIA GT Racing gameplay.
Today, an oldie but goodie makes its first appearance on the channel in the form of GTR 2, a sim which I've never played until now.
This race at Oschersleben was supposed to be a field of cars in the same class but it turned out to be a gaggle of Ferraris with a few token BMW's so there are quite a few duplicated cars on the track.
I left the HUD on so that you could see what was going on but I admit that it looks rather dated and the gear suggestions that continuously pop up are annoying - definitely something I want to remove in future races. The AI are competitive and reasonably OK despite their tendency to slow far too much on occasion. I had them set on Real aggression.
As a shakedown run this was really enjoyable and although GTR 2 is somewhat dated, it certainly doesn't disappoint in the driving department andit's easy to see why the sin still has a loyal fanbase in 2016. This was stock content but there are a large number of mods out there too many of which I'm looking forward to trying.
As the game costs very little on Steam now, it's definitely worth the investment if you've never played it before.
