Raceroom Racing Experience gameplay. A 10 minute race around the Red Bull Ring GP circuit in the Chevy Camaro GT3 car.
Finally I got around to having a play with RRE and initial impressions are very good. Unfortunately I messed up in the settings and ended up racing against Adaptive AI. Bearing in mind this was my first ever outing on the sim, they obviously had no data on my driving and were painfully slow in places and were prone to brake checking at the most unexpected times.
So, although I crossed the line first for a change, I cannot in good conscience say that it was a very fair race. Next time out I shall probably go for a fixed AI difficulty level.
I didn't drive that well, or that fast and I'm sure that with a decent level of AI challenge the game is going to be very entertaining. It certainly looks really nice and in terms of physics and force feedback, which is very customizable, even with just bog standard out of the box settings it didn't feel bad at all.
