Iran has brokered a deal with Airbus to obtain 100 jets, which are reportedly to arrive starting mid-January. The deal is expected to be signed and finalized in the coming days and no later than the end of this week, Deputy Roads and Urban Development Minister Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan told Reuters. Airbus will supply four types of aircrafts, including the medium-haul A320 and A321 jetliner and the long-haul A330 and A350. The U.S. Treasury allowed the export license so that the deal can proceed, a requirement due to the American parts used in Airbus.
