❱ D-WALKER OF ROCKET LAUNCHER?
The method from the video shows the fight using the D-Walker equipped with a gatling gun. This has the advantage that you can deal continuous damage compared to the reload times of a rocket launcher. That being said, if you have an upgraded CGM-25 rocket launcher you can definitely go for it and deal some serious damage with it.
❱ GENERAL MISSION TIPS
At the beginning of the fight, call for an ammo supply-drop and let it sit there until you've used up your current one.
To win this fight, you're going to have to constantly judge if a defense or an attack is needed. Keep your camera on him at all times and look for incoming missiles or other attacks. Very often, getting yourself into safety is the better tactic. Time is not that much of an issue for the S-Rank.
❱ END PHASE OF THE FIGHT (05:03)
When his health is low, Sahelanthropus will jump far away and attack you with deadly laser shots. Only move out to provoke his shot and get into cover instantly.
He will also attack you in slow-mo, with the floating boy in front of his head. Simply hit him once to make him dissapear again. Now is the best time to finish him. Try to shoot his weak spot while he is not moving and you'll be good to go for the mission 50 S-Rank.
