rFactor 2 League Race - SimRacing-GP.net - The Rookie League
The first round of TRL Renault Megane series at Brands Hatch GP circuit.
My first RF2 league race and a healthy grid of 29 drivers takes the green for what turned out to be a pretty eventful race. Having qualified in 22nd spot, my main goal was just to survive to the finish as I had no idea what to expect, never having raced with any of the drivers before.
This might be The Rookie League but there are some very quick drivers taking part . The championship is split into two divisions - A and B - the latter being for newcomers and beginners but both divisions race together so it can get very interesting.
Whilst you may not get the impression from my race perspective, there was a fair amount of carnage in the first few laps, most of which I was fortunate enough to avoid. I did survive to take the chequered flag but I'll leave it at that so you can enjoy the race without spoilers.
