Marty Thomas won the 2nd Annual Broadway Beauty Pageant. Mr. Xanadu was crowned the winner, while Daniel Robinson from Hairspray took home second place. Like any good beauty pageant, there was a talent portion, an interview and the obligatory swimsuit competition. The evening was a fundraiser to benefit the Ali Forney Center, which provides shelter to homeless LGBT youth in New York City.

Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words is extending its run at the Triad Theatre on West 72nd St. The performance features a line up of revolving actors who read from the autobiographies of celebrities. Some of the "authors" that are featured include Ivana Trump, Vanna White, Mr. T, Star Jones, and even Britney Spears. Actors scheduled to appear on May 12 are Susie Essman, Rachel Dratch, Richard Kind and Sherri Shepherd.

Girls Day, or Britney and Tara Stare Into the Void and the Void Stares Back, scheduled to begin May 11 at the Ace of Clubs, has been canceled due to conflicting schedules. However, the producers are looking to move the show to the fall. Keep your eyes peeled.

Damn Yankees has beefed up its ensemble cast. Actors Cheyenne Jackson, Randy Graff and Ana Gasteyer will join previously announced cast members Sean Hayes and Jane Krakowski in the show running July 5 – 27 at The City Center. Damn Yankees is directed by John Rando.
