GST, cashless economy will advance India's growth in 2017: Arun Jaitley | Oneindia News

Union Finance minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday asserted that implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and a cashless economy will advance the country's growth in 2017. Jaitley made the comment in his New Year message to the nation. The long-awaited GST, once implemented, would turn Asia's third-largest economy into a single market for the first time, broaden the tax base and make life simpler for businesses that now pay a host of federal and state levies.
