Coffins of Afghan Soldiers Loaded on Trucks After Base Attack

Afghanistan’s defense ministry said on April 22 that more than 100 soldiers had been killed in an attack the day before in an army base in Mazar-e Sharif in northern Balkh province.The ministry’s statement blamed Taliban fighters for the attack. BBC reported that the group had claimed responsibility for it.In this video, coffins containing remains of some of the soldiers are loaded onto trucks at the base.
