Microsoft launches new laptop to compete with MacBook Pro and Chromebooks.

Just as Microsoft launched the Windows 10 S system, the company announced their brand new, premium Surface Laptop. The Surface Laptop is a 4.5mm thick and 2.76lbs computer that includes a 3.5in touchscreen with a colored, fabric-covered deck. The laptop will feature a USB-A port, mini DisplayPort, and a power connector that’s compatible with other existing Surface accessories. Microsoft’s new laptop will challenge other popular computers such as Apple’s MacBook Pro and Google’s Chromebooks. The Surface Laptop will be priced at $999 and is available for purchase starting June 15.
