Man swallows two pens after 'argument with wife'

Footage has emerged from China of a man being operated on by doctors after he swallowed two pens, allegedly on purpose, because he had an argument with his wife.

The video, filmed in Wuhan, Hubei Province on April 22, features footage from inside the man's stomach which appears to contain two pens.

According to local reports, the man allegedly got extremely angry after an argument with his wife and decided to swallow the pens.

Doctors managed to remove the pens during surgery.
