The EPA has started offering buyouts to reduce staffing

The Environmental Protection Agency shared an internal memo yesterday with employees, offering buyouts in an attempt to reduce the number of staffers. According to Reuters, the memo did not state how many buyouts were going to be offered. The offer apparently came at the same time that President Trump announced that the U.S. would be leaving the Paris Climate Accord. Earlier this year the EPA had its budget cut, causing it to lay off a large number of employees and pull back on clean air and water programs.
