HELLBLADE is Only $30 ??? - Team Ninja Theory Takes a Gamble

It's strange to hear this almost Kickstarter like approach in trying to sell a game that is already done and ready to go. But at $30, I understand.
Is Team Ninja Theory doing the right thing by making their game $30? Or should they go the "The Order 1886" approach and charge full price for the shorter, yet high quality "AAA feel"?
Obviously as gamers we want the best bang for our buck, but I'm curious how this will work out from a business standpoint for Ninja Theory.
NOTE: Games like Heavenly Sword and Enslaved weren't $60 because they were on last gen, but they were full price for their time.
