Similar to Hatha Flow yet suitable for individuals who are challenged by back and/or joint problems or chronic health issues. We will work in our pain-free range of motion.

Flow Foundations
Join in for the joyful practice of yoga. This class uses a combination of movement, postures and breath to work on strength, flexibility and balance. An all levels class with focus on alignment, beginners will safely learn the basics while more experienced students can take postures to a deeper level.

Prana Vinyasa
We exist in an ocean of powerful, yet subtle energy known as Prana within the Yogic/Vedic tradition. By exercising the subtle-energy body just beneath the surface of the skin, we can begin to move our practice with more than just muscle. In this stimulating yoga flow class you will learn to channel Universal energy into the body, filling your cellular “batteries” with this free, vital life-force. Cues are made during class to help you guide the flowing prana throughout your body’s Nadis, or energy channels, into the Chakras and back out again through the body, bringing ultimate strength, lightness and grace into your practice.

Sunrise Yoga
This is an open class, which means that no one is ever late. Anyone can join the class at whatever time works best for them, stretch a little, and then join in. Sunrise yoga begins with a short sitting meditation, pranayama, and stretching, then workshop on particular poses. The class continues with a flow sequence, such as sun or moon salutations, Forgiveness Asana Series, or linked standing poses. Following will be some of the Tensegrity Repair Series, supine poses, and sitting poses, ending with restorative yoga and savasana.

Level 3 Yoga (Vijnana)
This class is suitable for yoga practitioners with 3+ years of yoga practice experience, and familiarity with inversions. This is not a “power” class but one in which we explore more advanced practices that are appropriate only for someone who has a regular sadhana and no physical injuries. We begin the class with sitting, kriyas and pranayama. A specific topic is explored, such as an area of physical anatomy or one of the 7 vital principles, and how this effects the methodology of asanas. We flow through poses to experience the effect of concentrated practice, and we look closely at specific poses and actions in the body. Beginning with a brief meditation and pranayama, followed by an asana focus that will vary each week. Ability to do headstand is a prerequisite. Restorative Yoga
In restorative yoga, props such as bolsters and blankets are used to fully support the body, allowing it to open slowly and naturally with no effort. Concentration is on the breath, allowing for a deep introspective class which restores energy to the body and calmness to the mind.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a potent tool that allows us to wake up the unconscious and subconscious mind, aiding the process of working through karmas and releasing samskaras. Yoga Nidra is the place where dreams come from, the meditative heart of yoga.

Vinyasa
In vinyasa we synchronize movement and breath to cultivate a flowing, meditative practice. Paying equal attention to posture and transition, we build an awareness of the energetic and structural benefits of asana. Everyone welcome – modifications will be offered for a variety of levels.

Yin Yoga
Yin is a therapeutic class that meditative, slow paced, and helps balance an active lifestyle. We will explore long deep stretching to enhance flexibility and joint mobility while encouraging healing and realigning the body’s connective tissues.
