A remarkable video has emerged from the US of a colourblind man receiving Enchroma glasses as a present for Father's day.
The footage, captured in Oakland on June 17, shows joyful Travis Brindley seeing colours for the first time with the help of the special glasses.
''Now, he is awed by the brightness of simple things like traffic lights and this manly man even stops to stare at flowers,'' his wife later wrote online.
''The best gift of all has been seeing his daughter's beautiful green-hazel eyes in their true colors,'' she added.
