34 years old Bryan Robson captains United in 1991 Cup Winner's Cup final against Cruyff's Dream Team with Laudrup and Koeman.

Bryan Robson feels a famous fixture on foreign soil was his finest game in a long and glorious career with Manchester United. Speaking to ManUtd.com recently, Robbo picked out Rotterdam in 1991 - the night when the Reds beat Catalan giants Barcelona - as his peak performance. And after a typically combative and creative display, the captain lifted the Cup Winners' Cup, the club's first European trophy since Sir Matt Busby's men won the European Cup in 1968.

"Everyone seems to say that my best United game was against Barcelona at Old Trafford in 1984, but I disagree," Robbo told us. "Owing to the occasion and what it meant to the club, I would say my best display was the Rotterdam final."

Robson proved to be a thorn in Barcelona's side all evening and it was his two probing passes that led to Mark Hughes' crucial brace. "Fortunately I managed to help set-up both of Sparky's goals, even though Brucey [Steve Bruce] has always claimed the first," Captain Marvel recalled with a smile.

"It was a truly memorable night. We had a really great bunch of players and the win itself was particularly notable as that Barcelona side went on to win the Champions League the following season. That showed just how good a team we had beaten."
