15 inch gauge, 1/4 Scale Railroad, Sonomas Train Town

Train Town was built by Stanley Frank starting in 1958 on farmland in Sonoma California. The railroad opened to the public in 1968 with four miles of track on 10 wooded acres, waterfalls and structures, over a trestle and through several tunnels, . When Frank died in 1977 his relatives continued to run it as an amusement park adding more locomotives, landscaping and amusement park rides.\r
