Hillary Clinton Has Not Ruled Out Questioning The Legitimacy Of The Election

Hillary Clinton has indicated that she may be open to questioning the legitimacy of the 2016 presidential election based on what special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation determines.
During a recent interview, NPR’s Terry Gross asked Clinton, “would you completely rule out questioning the legitimacy of this election if we learn that the Russian interference in the election is even deeper than we know now?”
“No. I would not,” the former first lady responded. “I don't know if there's any legal constitutional way to do that. I think you can raise questions.”
“Let me just put it this way, if I had lost the popular vote but won the electoral college and in my first day as president the intelligence community came to me and said, ‘The Russians influenced the election,’ I would've never stood for it," Clinton later added. "I would've set up an independent commission with subpoena power and everything else.”
She was also critical of President Trump, saying, “He knew [the Russians] were trying to do whatever they could to discredit me with emails, so there's obviously a trail there...”
Clinton has been speaking out over the past week to promote her new book 'What Happened.'
The New York Daily News notes that the book includes more strong words about the president, such as calling him a “clear and present danger to the country and the world.”
“I sometimes wonder: If you add together his time spent on golf, Twitter and cable news, what’s left?” she also writes.
Trump fired back by tweeting last week, “Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss. She lost the debates and lost her direction!”
“The 'deplorables' came back to haunt Hillary. They expressed their feelings loud and clear. She spent big money but, in the end, had no game!” he added.
