Armed police surround house in siege stand off
ARMED police have surrounded a house in Stockport, Greater Manchester after reports of a man and woman being held hostage. “Officers are in attendance and are attempting to engage with the man at the scene. Another male and a female are also believed to be inside the address.”The siege is understood to have started at around 8.30am with another man and woman in the property.Residents in the area say they have been told by police to remain in their homes.One eyewitness told the MEN: “Police with guns wandering about now.”More to follow…. 00FastNews.
