The facility has been accredited with the Gold certification within Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED). LEED is a set of green building criteria established by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) as guidelines for environmentally friendly building design and construction. The LEED Gold accreditation comes from PANDORA’s strong focus on the environment within the facility, for example choosing low impact, often recycled, building materials and recycling a large part of the construction waste.
