Congress government of Punjab will now recover tax from the people of the state for raising animals. Amarinder Singh's government has imposed a tax of 250 rupees to 500 rupees for raising pet animals in the state. People of Punjab have to pay tax to the government to raise all animals like dogs, cats, cows, buffalo goats and horses. The Punjab government sent the scheme to the corporation, after which the Congress government, led by Capt Amarinder Singh, has now issued notification for this. The state government has issued this notification under the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act.

पंजाब की कांग्रेस सरकार अब जानवर पालने पर प्रदेश के लोगों से टैक्स वसूल करेगी। अमरिंदर सिंह की सरकार ने प्रदेश में पालतू जानवरों को पालने पर 250 रुपए से लेकर 500 रुपए तक का टैक्स लगाया है। कुत्ता, बिल्ली, गाय, भैंस बकरी, घोड़ा जैसे सभी जानवरों को पालने के लिए पंजाब के लोगों को सरकार को टैक्स देना होगा। पंजाब सरकार ने इसको लेकर योजना निगमों को भेजी, जिसके बाद अब कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह की अगुवाई वाली कांग्रेस सरकार ने इसको लेकर नोटिफिकेशन जारी किया है। प्रदेश सरकार ने पंजाब म्युनिसिपल कॉरपोरेशन एक्ट के तहत यह नोटिफिकेशन जारी किया है।
