Heres my overall long-winded take on Avengers Alliance 2.\r
\r
I didnt get to all my points in the video due to the length, but heres the major points I would like to communicate.\r
\r
Pros: \r
\r
- Lots more HERO customization - you can pick move sets\r
\r
- Shield points have become more useful (and more scarce than in MAA1)\r
\r
- Gold is easier to get daily\r
\r
- 6 charers vs 3 adds more strategy into who you bring into battle\r
\r
- RPG elements that allow you to grind your charers/moves up\r
\r
- Iso upgrades also provide passives dependent on the types you add\r
\r
- You dont lose rank in PVP for defensive battles, you only lose when you lose when attacking.\r
\r
\r
CONS:\r
\r
- Class advantages have been reduced to a simple damage boost/decrease\r
\r
- No more player created charer, its all heroes.\r
\r
- No gifts you can send players, only team up bonus silver\r
\r
- Youre FORCED to use a team up charer in story missions, you cant just use your own team\r
\r
- Scouting missions become tedious and repetitive, with dice rolls for whether you get the upgrade ingredients you need\r
\r
- Its a total diceroll when you open a superior powercell, one of the only ways to get a charer in the game (besides PVP and spec ops), so you never pick who you get. Furthermore, you might not even get a charer, you might just get a move one of your charers can use instead, even duplicative that only give out a disappointing amount of shield points in their place\r
\r
- Gameplay feels overly simplified in comparison to MAA1, leaving a waterdown version of a system that generally worked very well for 4 years and counting
