The Proto HD from Never Summer is an all mountain freestyle true twin for the discerning snowboarder. Never Summer's proto is short for Prototype, this is where all the top end new tech resides for the snowboarder that wants everything. The rocker camber profile is extended in the tip and tail for better float and less catchiness without sacrificing the power that comes from the camber section under the inserts. There are rubber dampeners in the tip and tail and along the length of the board for ironing out the bumps when riding so you can smash through anything at top speed and barely feel a thing. So if you want to throw some tricks onto a not-so-perfect landing, the Proto will make it easier on your knees.
