As the minstrels of medieval times, they met on the streets of Transylvania. After a lot of music, wine and stories, after all the smiles and tears of passers-by, they realized that there was something magical and much bigger than they thought that connected them.
Deeply rooted in Transylvanian folklore, colored with medieval melodies sung with a noisy punk attitude by acoustic traditional instruments, the sound of AD HOC is both gentle and loud, new and ancient, powerful and thoughtful. Never denying anything from their history, AD HOC choose to let the voices in their souls loose. From honest and heartbreaking ballads to songs that have been torn from thunder and lightning, they mix all that has been since music came along, with all that is now, in the hope of creating an interesting and worthwhile future, accepting sounds and vibrations from all over the world.
An AD HOC concert is a complex show: with raw hides, animal skins and tattoos taylored to their attitude, with fairy tales, legends, smoke and frankincense to suit their mystical aura and with enough energy and vibration to make even the most skeptical audience move and dance.
Having changed enough avatars and tested enough members, the 5 AD HOC, that is Sergiu„ The Raven” Boldor (violin and voice), Igor Antoniuc (guitar, voice), Corina Gheorghe (violin), Roxana Zanga (happiness and drums) and Andrei „The Vampire” Nagy are now in their most favorable formula and ready to share „FORNICATION, POTIONS AND MEDIEVAL MUSIC” with all who have the hearts to open to their song, the mind to understand their voice and the
spirit to dance the night away.
