After two long years of experiments in a home studio, Superstrings first announced itself in 2007. The masterminds behind the project were Evgeniy Lykov (guitars), Andrey Fisenko aka dj Slimfit (sound production) and Alexandr Varfolomeev (vocals).
The Superstrings are tough to define within a single musical style. One track may sound like a vintage garage band, another offer some electronic experiments, and then you find a quite a pop anthem with powerful guitar lines. The Superstrings are not fame chasers, they don't cherish illusions about massive success and not too often they find themselves on the stage. Although with the years the band has built a certain fan base, whose members look forward for every next gig and closely follow the ups and downs of their creative path. Lately Alexey Osmirko on bass and Dmitry Petropavlovsky on drums joined the band making it a fully live act.
