The aircraft went up in flames immediately after it crashed, and fire fighters could be seen trying to put the flames out. The Indian Navy confirmed the same through a tweet by the spokesperson. The Indian Navy has been using the Mig-29 for several years now, and it operates based out of aircraft carriers as well.
