GEAR IT UP - Arcade Ticket Game

It is time to get those gears turning! Our trip to the arcade landed us right in front of this ticket game, GEAR IT UP! This is our first time seeing GEAR IT UP so we decided to try our luck. Little did we know, we would end up finding out how to beat this game every time. If you are interested in learning the ways to get the most tickets from GEAR IT UP, sit back and enjoy the lesson. There are not many skill-based games in arcades, but this is one that can be beaten.\r

How GEAR IT UP works:\r
The goal in GEAR IT UP is to get the ball to the top layer and into the hole. The higher up you get the ball before it goes into a hole, the more tickets you will win. \r
\r
You are given one ball for each game. You have to try and make the ball land within the UP sections on the gears. If you can make the ball land within a UP section, the ball will proceed to the next level. If you are able to do this for each level, you will reach the top hole and receive a spin on the bonus wheel for bonus tickets.\r

How to win:\r
On the first level, wait until one of the gear sections labeled MISS is over the hole that is behind the first level gear. Once there is a MISS section over the hole, press the play button. The ball should land within a UP section and proceed to the next level.\r

On the second level, wait until one of the gear sections labeled UP is over the hole that is behind the second level gear. Once there is a UP section over the hole, press the play button. The ball should land within a UP section and proceed to the third and final level. In order to maximize you chances of landing the ball within a UP section, be sure to press the play button once the first UP section after a MISS section is over the hole.\r

On the third and final level, wait until one of the gear sections labeled MISS is over the hole that is behind the third level gear. Once there is a MISS section over the hole, press the play button. The ball should land within a UP section and proceed to the winning hole. Now you are given a bonus spin to win more tickets.\r

On the bonus spin, you will need to press the play button once the light is 6 circles before the circle you want it to land on. As you can see in the video, we press the play button once the light is on the 15 circle. The 15 circle is 6 circles before the 100 circle.\r
