EATING LIBERIAN FOOD | Providence, Rhode Island
  • 6 years ago
On our last day in Rhode Island we interviewed Hannah who is being backed by the one million fund. Hannah is an Liberian girl who's goal is to become a chef. She cooked up traditional Liberian food for us at her house.

Liberian food consists of dumboy or fufu served with palm butter and palava sauce, meat stew, country chop (a mixture of meats, fish, and greens cooked in palm oil), jollof rice, and beef internal soup.

Eating Liberian food was different but the spices are delicious!

We then headed back to the center of Providence, Rhode Island and visited Long Live Beer Works Brewery. They have lots of Stouts and IPA's!

For dinner we headed to Caserta's Pizzeria in Federal Hill which is known for as Little Italy. The pizza was just like in Italy!

Have you been to Providence, Rhode Island before? Or eaten Liberian food?
