Hard Drive Inside: WD20NMVW, 5VDC at .75A\r
The 2.5 inch 5400RPM hard drive inside is of standard width and length. But the thickness is almost double that of a standard notebook/netbook drive. It looks like a good [consumer] quality drive. The USB 3.0 interface is soldered on the circuit board thats mounted on to the drive itself.\r

The drive inside cannot be reused in a notebook computer.\r

Note that I am not putting down Western Digital. The reason they put everything on a single board is to save money. I own many Western Digital drives.\r
