Trackmaster Motorized Tidmouth sheds set unboxing review and demonstration

Hey Guys I got this today from a store in Australia called Myer, they are having a toy sale and it was 30% of all Thomas toys so i couldnt resist. The box was very full and there was very little box bloat as Leokimvideo would call it (check out their channel), it was packed into the box in a very messy way and I was just amazed it was poor compared to the usual way that Trackmaster pack their boxes. The set itself is fairly straight forward to set up the alloying part were the end walls which were hard to make sit in the correct position at the bottom where it meets the turntable. it was hard to join up to the layout and I sat there for a while looking at it with my can or V energy drink until a solution presented itself, once I had it all set up and cleared up the excess track pieces and mess it was looking brilliant! It looked better than the picture on the box and when you watch the video you may agree (perhaps Fisher price should come do their photoshoots in my garage lol). I think this is a worthy addition to a large set if you have the room for it. One problem I had was with some engines not being heavy enough to turn the turntable as you will see in the video angry Thomas and Tomy James had allot of trouble yet Tomy salty was just fine, some more investigation (play time :P) is needed. Also added some more diecast cars to new plastictown and some more trees.\r

So a worthwhile purchase but I do not think its really worth the $90 original price for what is contained in the set. If you can pick it up on sale then go for it and if its even cheaper in your country then again go for it.\r

I give this set a 7/10 score because of the way it was packed and the trouble with some engines, the score is still high because it looks fantastic (from the front) if you see it from the back there is just a void and I feel there should have been a removable back cover for the sheds.\r

Thanks for watching guys!!
