hi all.in todays video Ill make a copy of a ballistic knife.The advantage of this kind of knife is that it can be used at a distance, and with a force more powerful than just kick or throw the knife.Like any other mechanism that uses the force of the compressed spring, ballistic knives can not be long kept in the cocked position because of the residual deformation of the spring due to prolonged compression. Ballistic knives are unsafe to handle and have a small effective range of application. Due to small clearances between moving parts of the knife providing some acceptable accuracy, the gun is sensitive to dirt and corrosion.At the moment, ballistic knives are not used in any of the special forces of the world.
